Homelessness

• Ecumenical Chaplaincy for the Homeless (315)
  We are a faith-based organization and as such provide:
  
  The presence of Christ’s body alongside of the homeless community;
  
  Free Bibles, when available;
  
  Counseling for substance abuse, job searching, and life issues;
  
  Procuring documents, including birth certificates, necessary to obtain an Arizona I.D. and services from other agencies assisting the poor and homelessm (if funds available).
• Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Program (300)
  Jan Hus Presbyterian Church's Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Program (New York City) provides a wide range of direct services to homeless individuals and marginally domiciled people and to advocate for affordable housing. Jan Hus has served more than 53,500 hot meals and offered more than 50,000 counseling and referral sessions.
• Homeless People's Network (293)
  A Forum wher homeless people discuss subjects of interest to homeless people.
• Homes for the Homeless - NYC (304)
  Homes for the Homeless (HFH) is the nation's largest provider of residential, education and employment training centers?serving over 540 homeless families and over 1,100 homeless children each day at four separate sites across New York City.
• HUD Site on Homelessness (321)
  A web site of programs to help the homeless, funded by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and many other federal agencies.
• Interfaith Assembly on Homelessness and Housing (413)
  This is an interfaith organization in New York working to eliminate homeless through advocacy.
• Interfaith Council for the Homeless (ICH) (288)
  ICH of Chicago (IL) offers programs designed to solve homelessness. Sanctuary Place, Housing First, and Interfaith Homes are programs set to offer permanent housing to homeless families in order to get them back on their feet.
