Homeless program consists of a monthly "Friendship Dinner for the Homeless." It is through this dinner that members of the congregation demonstrate their acceptance of the members of the homeless community. This dinner is beneficial to the homeless and to members of our congregation.

The Elam Davies Social Service Center is authorized to welcome any person who comes to Fourth Presbyterian Church seeking assistance in a time of need or crisis. Elam Davies created the center in May of 1983. He envisioned an oasis of care and support that would actually seek out and invite poor and homeless people who happen to pass by to come in and enjoy both hospitality and effective social service assistance.
